Course Overview
This 3-part self-directed downloadable series of video presentations is designed to prepare customers to migrate their existing ArubaOS 2.5 network to OS 3.1. Each video presentation is segmented by topic for easy navigation by the user. Part one covers the differences between the two operating systems. Part two covers planning and migration steps for an existing installation to 3.1. Part three walks the learner through an upgrade, showing how to convert an existing 2.5 installation to 3.1.

Prerequisites
Aruba's Advanced Design and Operations course for 2.5 recommended.
Course Contents
Part One - Differences
- This video covers what's new, names and AP groups, Profiles, web UI navigation, AP groups and profiles, licensing changes, new voice features, WebUI support, RF plan, ARM, Firewall enhancements, Authentication and Encryption, captive portal configuration, VPN configuration, 802.1x configuration, guest access, master and local mobility, deploying mobility over large areas, VLAN pooling, IDS and troubleshooting and management enhancements.
Part Two - Preparing for your upgrade
- This video covers your options for upgrading, upgrade preparation, performing the upgrade and upgrade back out procedures.
Part Three - Converting a 2.5 configuration to 3.1
- This video covers the steps to convert the configuration file, best practices, and an over-the-shoulder demonstration
